Eastern Partnership: Strengthening democratic processes, the rule of law and good governance

Description: The main objective of the project is to build the capacity of the European Union’s Eastern Partner (EP) countries to implement reforms to strengthen democratic processes, rule of law and good governance based on Estonian know-how and best practice. The focus of the project will primarily be on developing and systematising cooperation between authorities, both on the local and central level, as well as between authorities and civil society organisations. The EP countries consider Estonian European transition experience and expertise in implementing reforms to establish a strong democratic society to be of high value, relevance and trust. The project enables ESTDEV to efficiently and effectively offer the EP countries needs-based and targeted support through engaging relevant experts from Estonian ministries, local and central authorities and CSOs.
