The project builds on a previous cooperation project aimed at modernising the second line module of the Ukrainian Border Control Information System. Implemented in 2024, the project resulted in enhanced border control security, reduced corruption risks and increased the system's compliance with modern cyber security standards. The project identified the need for further developments to support Ukraine's border guards in their strategic development and in meeting the requirements for integration with the European Union.

Project objectives

The project aims to develop the "Risk Profiles" software, which automates the process of identifying and managing risks at Ukraine's state border. The goal is to enhance the efficiency of border control, reduce human errors, and support Ukraine's integration with the European Union by ensuring compliance of control processes with EU standards.

Actions and results

Project activities include creating and analyzing risk profiles, automating control processes, and ensuring the security and traceability of the system. Additionally, this project is a logical and organic continuation of the previous project on the modernization of second-line control software and increases its effectiveness.
