Partners
ESDTEV, together with project partners from Finland (HAUS) and Germany (GIZ), won the Twinning project bid in Tanzania. ESDTEV is leading the work of Estonian experts and is responsible for the implementation of the interoperability framework and data management work. Leading former and current public sector IT managers are involved in the project.

Project objectives

The main goals of project are:

  • Support capacity building and skills development in government and private sector cybersecurity and develop privacy and data protection frameworks.
  • Enhance interoperability frameworks and strengthen data management and governance skills, enabling an inclusive, transparent and efficient data-driven public sector.
  • Improve skills and capacity in the private sector, particularly within the cybersecurity and privacy and data protection research communities, while addressing the digital gender divide.

Actions and results

As a result of the project, the visibility of the European Union among e-government stakeholders in Tanzania will increase.
