The war in Ukraine has led to an unprecedented mental health crisis. The main problems stem from the instability of the health system and the increased need for mental health support services due to the war.

Project objectives

The project has two main objectives:

1) Supporting the mental health of Ukrainian citizens

2) Reducing students’ educational setbacks and supporting their well-being

Actions and results

1) Through the scientifically based digital diagnostic and treatment platform DocuMental, developed in Estonia, the project provides diagnostics and 2100 psychiatric/psychological consultations

2) The project focuses on internally displaced students from Luhansk, children of military personnel in Zhytomyr, and students in Zaporizhzhia near the frontline, who often have limited access to contact lessons. 150 seventh-graders will attend remedial learning camps in Ukrainian, math, history, and English, along with mental well-being activities.
